“The retreat was beyond what I was hoping for. After a challenging few years, I was desperate to just slow down and have a moment or two to myself and I was floored by how quickly I was able to relax and properly sink into being nurtured.  I honestly don’t think there was anything that could have made it better. Having a break from the mental load of parenting really allowed me to be fully present with my child and get to know him in a deeper way. I could see the change in him in seeing me so relaxed and carefree. I’m already excited to come next year!”

I cannot express just how wonderful this retreat was. We were genuinely able to slow down and decompress, spend time in nature, shut off our phones and enjoy every moment, without the battle for brain space thinking about what we should do, what food we needed to make, and if we were well enough stocked with snacks! This retreat fully acknowledges the needs of parents and their children and nails the balance between family time and adult time. An absolute rarity. And therefore a must do for all families.

This retreat far exceeded my expectations. I left feeling present, nourished and grounded, with a stillness I hadn’t felt in months after having a baby.

Meeting other women in motherhood, hearing their stories, and witnessing just how many forms this experience can take was something really special.The food throughout the retreat was incredible, deeply nourishing and beautifully prepared, making me feel cared for and restored. It felt like a rare space to slow down and reconnect both with my baby and with myself. I’m leaving with a full heart and memories I know I’ll carry with me for a long time.

“It was the most relaxing, restorative holiday I've had in years, certainly since my son was born. It was incredibly thoughtfully curated, with the perfect balance of activities and free time. As a single mum it was just wonderful not having to think about meals, or what to do each day, and having some quality me time. One of the most notable things was the food - every mouthful was a delight and so beautifully presented. The childcare was excellent. Also, every person in Jocie's team was genuinely lovely and caring, which made for a nurturing and joyful few days. It was a significant investment, but worth every penny.

“Jocie's retreat showed a different type of living - what a village with only mothers and children could look like. It was amazing how smooth it went, and the understanding & support between women was heartwarming. The daily yoga felt really good and I had full trust my children were well taken care of in the meantime. I fully enjoyed the slow time with my children and other mothers & children in the afternoons, in the amazing surroundings of the French countryside. The food was delicious & healthy and all the nice touches - I really felt nurtured :-). Thank you so much!”
